(TRICK) How to play Terra Battle on PC - Just tried this few months ago, and decided to make this guide for everyone who interested to play on PC. Works perfectly so far (2.3.0), and other games too (Cross Summoner, Granblue Fantasy, Bravely Archive, etc).

*THERE IS ALREADY OFFICIAL TB PC VERSION, COMING SOON. PRE-REGISTRATION HERE AND GET EXCLUSIVE COMPANION :D*

 TESTED WITH GENYMOTION, WINDROYE, DROID4X.
Currently worked on : 2.7.0 

Droid4x seems to be the best emulator for TB since it doesn't encounter the crash issue.

Note : If you want an easy installation and lightweight emulator, try Windroye.

1. GENYMOTION

What you will need :
1. Genymotion (https://www.genymotion.com/#!/download) - Recommended than other emulator.

Note : Your processor must support Virtualization Technology to do this, or Genymotion will stuck at Android boot logo.

Steps :
1. Download and install Genymotion (Sign up first if you don't have account)

Download the left one if you haven't install VirtualBox yet.

2. Open Genymotion, click Add (login if needed), then choose any virtual device you want (I'm using Nexus 7 - 4.3 - API 18).
[Optional] Backup your virtual device to prevent something bad later. Open VirtualBox, right-click device you've just downloaded, choose "Clone".

3. Install Android SDK, then open SDK Manager. Check Android SDK Tools and Android version that match with your virtual device version. (In case, I'm using Android 4.3, so I just need to download the same version.). You don't need to download system images, so just uncheck it.


4. Back to Genymotion, click Setting > ADB, choose "Use custom Android SDK Tools", and pick your Android SDK folder path.


5. Start your virtual device.
6. Download ARM Translation and GApps from link above. There are several GApps version, just download that match with your devices (again, I'm using 4.3). After your device ready, drag ARM Translation zip first to your device, and restart (close and reopen). Next, drag GApps zip and restart again.
7. Done! Now just install TB from Playstore or APK and play!
8. If you have crash problem when open TB, try 2.6.0 method below.

2. WINDROYE

Note : Your processor must support Virtualization Technology to run Windroye.
 
1. Download Windroye here : http://www.windroye.com/product/windroye.php
2. Install Windroye
3. Open Windroye. Yeah, it's chinese. But don't worry, just change language at Setting (gear icon) > Language and Input (Square icon with letter "A") > Language (first option). Choose language whatever you want.
3. Install Terra Battle (Google Play or APK)
4. Then follow crash problem method below.
5. Done!


THESE STEPS ARE FOR 2.6.0 or above (Crash problem) :

I figured it out that some lib files are missing (or maybe gone after updating?). So you need to bring these lost lib files back to their home lol. And this is the main problem that makes TB crash on any android emulators.

Note : I recommend to use Root Explorer to access root directory. ES File Explorer works fine too (make sure you enable root explorer mode).

1. Download this lib files : here (damn FBI lol) or here (Gdrive). You can get this lib files in your TB-installed phone if you rooted.
2. Drag this zip file to devices. It should be moved to /sdcard/download


3. Open Root Explorer, go to zip directory, hold and extract all zip file (It should be extracted to /sdcard/speedsoftware/extracted)

4. Go to extracted files directory, select all lib files, then copy


5. Go to /data/data/com.mistwalker.guardians/lib, then paste it here (just merge if system ask).


6. Done!


Optional - Improve device performance & speed (Genymotion)

I found that original device resolution and density are to high that makes device run slower, laggy, and takes much cpu and memory process.

To fix that problem :

1. At devices list, right-click device you use, and click setting.


2. Here you can change resolution and density you want. I recommend to use low resolution and lowest density (120) to greatly improve device performance.



Optional - Dragging problem (Windows) :
I recommend to uncheck "Enchance pointer precision" setting at mouse properties when playing. If you don't, your pointer will easily out from window when dragging character. It's very annoying

      Can you give me your device log file? You can create it from device list, right click on device you use, then click generate log archive.

      Yes.. but this is a new TB install from the store (40mb).. the game cant even run the first time.. even if i download the OBB (i never downloaded the OBB and worked perfectly) and put the missing files. before the update TB was working. :/.. maybe im doing something wrong. im going to try with a clean device.       Hello again. The problem was the root explorer i was using (root broswer app). The missing files were copied with 0 bytes. That was the problem. i check the size only beacuse you ask me, so thx again!. PD: rip english.

    After this 2.6.0 problem, I realized that other android emulators should work fine too with method above. Tested on Windroye, and finally it works perfectly! lol

    I can't copy any files into the "lib" folder, it has a different Icon in "ES File Explorer" and seems to be special..if i try to copy any files it tells me that it hasnt got enough space to copy the files...

    After deleting the original "lib" folder and creating a new one i could copy the files but after starting Terra Battle the original folder reappered and TB wouldnt start

    It works fine except we have no access at daily's bonus(monster and drop rate bonus never appeared in game), even if we change the time location in setting. I've tested many things included but still no issues. Someone else have this pb or a fix pls?

      I've never face that issue before. It should be works fine. Maybe you can try other emulator like Windroy?

    I still cant get it done on GENYMOTION. I have tried 2.6.0 fix that copy the library to the folder, but the game still crashes. I'll try method 2 later...

      It should be works. I tried updating to 2.7.0 and still works fine with old (2.6.0) lib files. Have you tried it yet?

    One question though: can I normally transfer my account from my phone to pc and vice versa? Sometimes I need my phone available for other stuff, so it'd be really convenient...

      Yup. Normally you can make transfer ID to move your accout. But If you still want to use both device without making transfer data, (this just for android) you can find your save data at /data/data/com.mistwalker.guardians/ and backup savedata.bin and savedata_backup.bin file. Just copy that file to whatever device you have with same location. Done!

      Yes you can. I play with both emulator and phone too. I don't recommend to play at same time, don't blame me if something bad happened like banned or else lol

    My lib files don't seem to stay in the same spot, is that supposed to happen? When I try to open the game it says terra has stopped. When I go back to the lib folder only three of them are left.

    Hello, I did install GennyMotion, emulate a Galaxy S5, dragged and dropped "ARM Translation" then "Google Apps for Android 4.4" on the device.
    But i dont have google app store icon so impossible to install any application : what should I do ?

    Have anyone tried this on 2.8.0? My genymotion used to work for TB 2.7.0, but now it doesn't work for 2.8.0. Does any one have similar problem?

      I think the reason might be windows 10. I manage to use the latest oracle virtual box, but TB is still keep crashing after swapping the library when the emulator is working fine.

      i'm not using genymotion anymore. droid4x is the easiest way to play TB now from my experience. no lib files missing problem. just install and play. i'm using win10 too, and never seen any problem with it
